Two Quotes To Remember To Be A Happier Person

Quotes To Ponder

The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why – Mark Twain

For many people the day you are born is important for the following reasons: it is the day you get to join this world, experience life, and enjoy everything that this world has to offer. But the day you are born is not purely a selfish day. It is also the day you get to add your greatness and presence to this world. There is only one other day like it, and that’s the day you find out exactly how you can contribute the greatness you have to offer.

So many people go through life not really living. You see them every time you go out. You may even see someone like that when you look in the mirror.

When you don’t really live your life, you are unhappy with your job, your relationships, and your life in general. You don’t wake up excited to work towards your calling, because you don’t feel like you have a calling.

You may even go out and make other people’s lives miserable because you feel so crappy about life. You may be mean, rude, or selfish in your interactions with others. Instead of contributing positively to this world, you may contribute negatively in many different ways.

But, when you know exactly why you want to wake up each day, life takes a different turn. It’s not about waking up and trying to survive anymore at that point. It becomes a quest to fulfill your talents, feel as though you are contributing, and work towards making this world a better place for you and everyone in it.

In short, every day becomes another day to make the world better.

What Is Your Life’s Purpose?

Contributing to the world is really what everyone’s calling is about in the end. When you help make this world a better place through your talents, your personal happiness and self-value increases, which is what makes life worth living. You not only affect other people positively through your talents, you also affect them positively through your energetic vibrations. When you are living your life purpose, you naturally vibrate at a higher energy.

Don’t buy the whole vibration thing? Think of it this way: When you are standing next to a miserable person, do you feel happy? Probably not. Their misery can be contagious. If you start talking to them, your mood can really start to become more negative with each word you say. But when you stand next to a positive person who is laughing, smiling, or just send off a loving energy, do you feel happy? Probably! A person who feels good, vibrates at a high and positive energy, and they can help raise your energy as well and make you feel better no matter how down you were when you first stood next to them.

Whether you were born to lead, follow, create, inspire, or help, you have a talent inside of you that will make you feel alive. Some people have it easy and know why they were put here from a young age. Other people take some time to figure it out.

How Will You Know You’ve Found It?

When you do find your purpose in life, though, you know it. It makes you feel good. Time goes by quickly while you are doing it. You feel fulfilled when you are doing it. It adds value to the world in some way. And, you are excited to do it again tomorrow.

In order to find your life purpose, you need to look outside yourself. That may sound strange, but considering that your life purpose if for the greater good of the world, you need to be able to see other people’s needs and desires, and even their suffering. You need to figure out how you can help raise the vibration of everyone around you.

Finding your calling is not always about career, as many people think. Maybe you were put on this earth to support people in a time of need. Maybe you were put here to inspire your friends and family to greater things. Maybe you were put here to be a parent to the future president. Maybe you were put here to plant trees that helps other people breathe clean air. Whatever comes to you easily, and makes you feel alive, is why you were put here.

If you can turn it into a career, even better. For instance, if you feel you were put here to inspire others through your writing, then there are many different ways you can put that talent to use. You can write and sell books. You can create a blog and recommend inspiring products that will help others. The avenue best for you is the one that makes you feel the most alive.

With the help of the Internet, following your calling is even easier. For instance, amazing mothers are putting their talents to use by blogging about how to be a great mother! They are teaching other mothers to create nutritious meals, support healthy behavior, and deal with common issues.

If you are not waking up excited to be alive and ‘get to work’, then you haven’t figured it out yet. That’s okay. It’s not a race. Keep your eyes open, your awareness expanded, and you will not be able to miss it when it shows up.

Reach Success And Aim For Value

Strive not to be a success, but rather to be of value. – Albert Einstein

Success and adding value to the world go together like bread and butter. They taste okay without each other, but they taste much better when combined.

A successful person can have all the riches in the world with a thriving business, but still lack satisfaction. For instance, a successful used car salesman can make a ton of money selling lemons to unsuspecting people. That is, by definition, success. Their business can thrive and money can come pouring in day after day. They can have a great house, go on amazing vacations, and buy anything they want. But success at the expense of others is not fully satisfying – despite what that used car salesman tells himself.

When you find success at the expense of others, there are feelings of regret and dissatisfaction that arise from time to time. Even if you choose to ignore those feelings and stuff them deep down, they are still there. They are affecting you on some level, and they are holding you back from fully appreciating your life and feeling satisfied at the end of the day.

Moreover, the negative vibrations coming from the people you have done wrong are affecting you on some level. When you are disliked or even hated, you can feel it. It affects your self-worth and happiness on some level, and it holds you back from going to bed feeling great and waking up feeling purposeful.

Success With Value Is When Life Starts To Feel Good

But, when you find success by adding value to other people’s lives, you get the best of both worlds. You feel great about how far you have come in terms of pushing past your comfort zone, taking chances, and finding success from your efforts. And you feel great about what your success is doing for other people and the world around you.

A lot of people think that you can’t be a success while being kind and generous. In fact, a lot of kind and generous people will purposely not try to find success because they feel they are devaluing their worthiness on some level. But the truth is that is the only way to be a true success in life is to be valuable – and the best way to be valuable is to be a success.

T. Harv Eker says in his book, Secrets of the Millionaire Mind, that ‘your income can grow only to the extent you do’. The truth is personal growth is about looking outside of yourself, seeing what other people need, and finding solutions to their problems. The most successful entrepreneurs know that they can offer huge value to people and make a living by doing it.

At the end of your life, all the success in the world will not be rewarding. But, adding a ton of value to the world, in whatever way you could, will be rewarding. You will remember the good you did, the hand you held out to others, and the love and respect you got in return. And, yes, you will also remember the financial success that you found by adding value to the world. Your life will leave a sweet and satisfying taste in your mouth. And that’s what true success is all about.
